The results of the Lake Shores Community Association holiday decoration contest are in and the winners are:

East Side:

1st Prize ($100) to Jason and Audra Sartain at 934 Ardis Drive

2nd Prize ($50) to Ralph and Sandy Tuttle at 1036 Aylesford Drive

3rd Prize ($25) to Thomas and Michele Howe at 1035 Crestway Drive

West Side:

1st Prize ($100) to Herman and Patty Berghoff at 7002 Corline Street

2nd Prize ($50) to Gary and Betty Markley at 6735 Hiltonia Drive

3rd Prize ($25) to Bruce and Deb Hall at 1704 Lakewood Drive

Can emergency personnel find your home?

When board members were driving the neighborhood to select the homes for this year's holiday decoration contest, they commented that it was difficult to find the street address of numerous homes in the Lake Shores Community.

How quickly would Police, Fire, or EMT personnel be able to find your home in an emergency. Even a single minute lost, while emergency personnel search for a house number, could be the difference between life and death. 

Please make sure that your street number is readily visible in both daylight and darkness. It could very well save the life of you or a member of your family!
